Overly aggressive trapping defense has lead to open looks all over for BYU. We did nothing to adjust.

This. I love Otzball against teams like Houston but it doesn’t work against good passing teams who have good shooters. Against BYU you need to play straight up man to man.

ISU gets impatient at both ends and it tends to have a bad effect.

We got a really, really short bench.

Some misses in the portal are being exposed, but think we mostly liked them at the time so tough to kill Otz. Going to be some tough games going forward, hopefully we can win enough especially at home to make a run at tourney.

Get ready for more 3s from TCU. They made 11 of them tonight against Cincinnati. We're lucky if we hit 3 a game. 33-9 point differential is hard to make up.
...we HAVE to hit more 3s if the other teams are going to light it up for 10+ makes a game.
