I could see both being a bit higher than that, especially the men, with all the losses over the last week.Men 23 women 25

haven't looked at this site yet this year but found it interesting that 5 bracketoligists didn't have us making the field as of 1/12
Looking forward to today's matrix update! I could see us as a consensus 6 seed
Might not want to get your hopes up too high as one of the commentators mentioned this weekend: (paraphrasing) when everybody looses, nobody looses, and according to votes we were 38th in votes in the last API could see both being a bit higher than that, especially the men, with all the losses over the last week.
Some of those are older brackets(1/9) but yeah still strange to me. Though one is Andy Katz...so makes a bit of sense with him.haven't looked at this site yet this year but found it interesting that 5 bracketoligists didn't have us making the field as of 1/12
It also wasn't deep in a complimentary sense. Morris was about the only one that could handle point for example.
That was a good but weird team all season.
Kinda like those Fred teams. The starting 5 were a chef's kiss but after that. Blah.
I'm perfectly comfortable with our guard rotation. Yes, we're always going to be better with Tamin on the court, as he is one of the best point guards in the country, but the combination of Gilbert/Jones/Pav fill in for him pretty darn well IMO.I can't remember the last time we had a half-decent backup PG.
We've had some great starters... but almost nothing off the bench for that role, some guy who can take the point 10 minutes per game while the main guy rests and play another 10 off the ball.
Gilbert and Jiggy Curt are better than the options the past few years, but I still hold my breath whenever Tamin isn't on the court. Everything on both ends just seems to go so much better with him out there.
Senior Kane (maybe more a SG)/freshman Monté maybe?
Bubu?
Monté/sophomore Nick (don't remember him being used at as PG more a F that year)?
Nick/freshman Haliburton (again TH was mostly an off-ball SG that year)
Whar the minutes? If edozie would have gotten more minutes we could have really done something special.
I was going to suggest Stinson-Blalock as viable PG backup combo, but that wouldn't qualify as "off-the-bench" situation.I can't remember the last time we had a half-decent backup PG.

Only look at brackets from those who are good at it.. See the link below:haven't looked at this site yet this year but found it interesting that 5 bracketoligists didn't have us making the field as of 1/12

What are the ranking predictions for tomorrow? I know we were like 29 or 30 this week.
We did lose a game due to free throws this year.. ranked 216 on FT% is an area we should improve onno area where Iowa State has a significant weakness

I think below the top 12 teams or so, the overrated claim is probably valid.I was told the conference was overrated.
