We got ~3" of snow overnight and the roads are still a mess from Tues/Wed.

There were a ton of schools in western Iowa that had delays today. Perhaps it was a combination of residual crappiness from two days ago plus the squall from last night.
This sucks big time. Had kid's first birthday planned for this Saturday afternoon, but now looking at rescheduling as we would be coming from out of state as well as some other family.
Worth the inconvenience to not put us and other loved ones at risk.

I drove about 20 mph to work this morning (rural highway into town). Roads were **** this morning.
Unless Oklahoma State is in town already for the game, I will assume the game will be called off?
Doubtful, seems like the show almost always goes on.
Seems like there's plenty of time for them to get in. Game isn't until 5pm saturday, and the bulk of this snow will be over by noon Friday.
So the teacher ‘work day’ that was scheduled for tomorrow was moved to Wednesday. Can’t teachers work virtually? So now we have kids home this week and already two days next week. Awesome!

No cutoff age. I think if 40% of their body fits into the box you are good to go.
CR side streets are absolute trash for the most part. Going to be very rough after this next one and then a super hard freeze.
I like the attempt to heighten awareness. But I question the accuracy of this statement in the state of Iowa. Back to back storms like this? That I can get behind.
