Cowboys take the early 3-0 lead on A$M. Thought the Doak Walker winner might get the 4th down shot from the two.
So watching USC tonight. Are we sure Caleb Williams is all that good? With these receivers they have, it just seems you can chuck it up and they’ll go get that ball. If this backup can throw 4 TDs in a half, has Williams ever really had to read a defense and adjust like he’ll have to do in the NFL?
1st yr if they are in the last 4 teams, and they have a chance to be drafted high.
I think OSU made a mistake not going for it on 4th and goal from the two. Worst case is they got stuffed and they get a true freshman QB taking a snap in his own endzone.

Was he that great when he was at OU???? I’m sure the bears will draft him, keep fields and trade away their other pick for some shmo off the streets. They had the top two friggin picks earlier in the year and decided to **** that up before the draft.

ESPN announcers are contractually obligated to mention how many players aren’t playing for the SEC team
I’m not sure it’s contractual. But for sure it’s coming down from their bosses. Their absurd TV contracts rely on the SEC being seen as the undisputed top of CFB. The ESPN bosses know they still control the narrative for now, so they will use that to get people to believe what they want them to.
A lot of recruiting stars attached to those backups. TAMU has been near the top of recruiting rankings for several years. So these backups aren’t exactly development players.
Looking like usc 2nd or 3rd string guys have more fight than starters. USC has like 20 guys out.
The QB has a grad symbol on his jersey and he was a 2021 HS graduate. Wow.
and A&M are squeaky clean.
