Klein has taught Howard to be methodical back there.
These KState QBs over the years, when running, just don't immediately take off. They survey very well.

I actually think its not a bad idea to punt return there. just bad luck and typical for ISU.

I totally disagree. So many things can go wrong in these elements. You fair catch everything unless it’s a low line drive and you don’t have guys trying to set up blocks with no idea where the ball is. In this weather you have no idea where the punt may go. That was sheer stupidity and it’s on the coaches. KState never makes that mistake.

Fans are mad because K-State isn't better than us. There's not a talent gap there. Fans are mad because they win games in the margins, and we lose games in the margins, despite our head coach preaching about winning games in the margins every single day for the past 7 years.

There's a very clear talent gap, what game are you watching? Is it just the name on the jersey that makes you think that?

Kohl probably has more experience in the snow but that just isn’t in the works. I feel they need to let him rollout and make it a run pass option.

They need to call the game like any other game. Ignore the snow. K-State doesn't look effected by it at all. They're throwing the ball fine.

Going back to historical stats. We are minus 2 in the turnover department and really like 2.5 because of the snapped ball over Rocco’s head that killed a great drive. Absolutely have to get at least one turnover back because losing the turnover battle equals losing more times than not. Losing it by multiple turnovers is like a 75% or more chance you are losing that game.

We had the lead going to halftime if we don’t **** up the punt return, or if Caleb has any ounce of athletic ability.

Well that sucks. Both those guys have been pretty solid, especially Sanders. Sama isn't an every down back and Hanson doesn’t have any burst. Be surprised if we get over 50 yards rushing tonight
