Random Thoughts 17: Here we go again.

27 degrees out this morning and an inch of snow forecast for this evening. And the roofing crew is doing the neighbors roof. Not the greatest temp for getting a nice shingle lay and seal. Glad it was warmer when mine got done.

The non-conforming house is only 8 feet feet off my property line meaning like 23 feet from me. Noisy. Guess it is going to be a gym and earn running day to get way from the noise.

My last week of 100% remote at work. It's been a nice ride but it will probably be good for me to get out of the house 3 days a week.
 
Guess I "get" to go to Houston next week. Taking a late flight out on Sunday night and back on Wednesday for a prior engagement.
 
Forecast here for treat or treat time is 20 degrees. Brrr. Might end up with a lot of candy for Boxster. Even invested in an inflatable Jack Skeleton, that alone probably guaranteed **** weather.

Also, snow tonight, probably only an inch or so but still real accumulation. Boo that. Put snow scraper and brush in Das Audi. Snow boots appt on Thursday. Still got the summer slipper on.

Didn't pay attention to where my heat was set when I left this wkend, by the time I got home tonight my house was about 50 degrees. Brrr.
Oh well saved on the LP that way.
 
In case anyone wonders, the 8th grade boys proved last night that neither an orange or a blender bottle will flush down the toilet, either on their own or together. The girls proved that a mountain of paper towels (and I'm so thankful it was only towels in that mess) also will not go down.

I didn't refill any paper products for Halloween. No way I was giving them more for today.
