That is funny … I was also at 30 Hop tonight and got the Tenderloin. We closed the place down, think they were happy to see the 4 of us leave.
I was downstairs were you up on the rooftop?

What kind of maple tree?Hey, @BoxsterCy, should I be concerned that there are a couple of cracks developing in the bark of one of my maple trees? They are cracks clear through the bark, one of them probably 6 or more inches long. You can see the trunk of the tree behind which appears mostly normal but there is some black flesh under there as well.
A couple of the maples nearby have had tar on the leaves in the past couple of years but this one has had little to none.
With reds it’s a little common. What side of the tree is it? North or south.I think it is a silver maple.
Bigger one is on the east. Smaller one is SW.With reds it’s a little common. What side of the tree is it? North or south.
Found this.Bigger one is on the east. Smaller one is SW.
I live in Minnesota. We don't get fluctuations in temperature here - unless you count the difference between "stupid cold" and "MFing cold".Found this.
What you've described is probably a frost crack. It is very common on Norway and red maples, due to their thin bark. It usually occurs on the south or southwest side of the tree and is a response to extreme fluctuation in temps between night and day.
Two weeks ago we had 98 degree days and 50 degree nights in NI. You aren’t that far away.I live in Minnesota. We don't get fluctuations in temperature here - unless you count the difference between "stupid cold" and "MFing cold".

I haven’t had their version. I had their banana pudding one and ole Smokey’s destroys them on that. Difference is OS hits you with a little shine taste first and then you get banana. The other one is the opposite so you have a shine taste last.If it's the Appalachian Sippin Cream Butter Pecan, you will love it (better go buy a couple more). IMO it's better than the Ole Smokey brand.

Clear lake sells their so maybe I will chill the coffee one and get a bottle of App and do a comparison.
30 Hop is a great choice on this side of town!30 hop for supper their pork tenderloin is a different deal but pretty good. Big Grove 1929 is a decent red ale.
It was off the route at 730 and eating at 830 not a terrible day. At least one more day, but if all goes well I may finish tomorrow.
