Random Thoughts 17: Here we go again.

9 years ago I was starting my senior year at ISU. Not sure how I feel about that.
In November it will be 50 years ago that graduated from ISU.
Think it was my dad's only trip to ISU.
Did a tree next to a cow pasture today, one cow wouldn't shut up the entire time we were there. Even with the chipper running I could still hear it. Then the property owner showed up and moved them all over to an adjacent pasture. They're basically oversized dogs.
Going to treat myself to some mango sorbet, my fav. What the heck, biked a decent distance of 28 miles on Sunday (DND), lifted weights for 90 minutes today, raked and bagged storm debris and drank less wine than I might have tonight....so all's good!
12th straight day of having to work. Right now I'm the only one that knows my position, been training a guy for a couple of days and then today another training day he no shows. My life story truly is Life's a *itch and then you Die.
Keith Richards is proof you don't have to live a boring life to have a good life. How he survived the 60s thru the 80s I'll never understand. Lucky son of a gun.
I remember those 90's tours that came through a few years ago.
Imo they should have a 'you made it through all of that' tour for acts that made it through not only music star lifestyles but viral and drug epidemics. It's a borderline miracle.
Might as well share this wonderful news. I have cancer of the tongue. Scheduled for surgery next Wednesday to remove the cancerous tissue and rebuild my tongue.

OTN this week is all about American Graffiti. I've never seen it. I know back in the 70s it felt like they were trying to shove the 50's down our throats so I've always resisted so many things I consider part of the 50's
Boy I haven't seen that for a long time. Lots of famous people got 15 seconds in that movie.
