If they haven’t applied, how are they accepted without tampering? Seems like it goes against everything I’ve heard since 2010
Isn't this the last year of the Pac 12 media contract? I'm guessing that's the difference.

Gotta imagine the Big12 has an idea of who’s coming next. No way they’d approve #13 without a plan to get #14. And honestly, schedule-wise, 14 isn’t a great number either. So if the TV partners approve, I would think there’s a plan for 16. And now I’d think things will move very quickly for 2024.

Yeah, I can't imagine you can do a 13 team league and maintain revenue without it being a much bigger add than Colorado. Because you'd have to drop down to 8 conference games, reducing the inventory from current while splitting the revenue with one more member.

Might as well string it along and keep it in the news cycle. Colorado this week and #14 next week works for me.

Don't have time to dig up any old posts, but I wanted BYU back in 2010-11 when the first go-around started. They're definitely a unique school, but they'll be a good add.
I don't like Sunday games either, is it too late to claim ISU religion doesn't allow us to play Fri/Sun NCAA games?

KU ksu would be more rivals
True, but we have plenty of big Cyclone memories involving the Buffs, including the infamous '05 tornado game (I was there). Also, Chizik's first year where the students stormed the field after each football win, including the game against CU (there were only 3 wins that year, it was a tough stretch). There are also many more painful ones as well, but we won't talk about Jaquay Walls...whoops.

PI guess, OUT wasn’t either given how it played out. Seems like it’s always apply and we’ll vote.

The only tampering discussion for OuT was when ESPN attempted to merge the Big12 with the AAC to get OuT to the SEC early. As long as there is no attempt to break a contract, there is no tampering.

What's also great about this...it's taking the spotlight away from the Big 10 Media Days and shining it on the Big 12. Another home run!
Not for Keith Murphy. Sports at 6 and 10 were covering Ferentz, Cooper “The Punk” DeJean and Caitlin Clark.

There was a blizzard game back in the 90s that you can find on YouTube. Had maybe 4,000 people at the game.
