Isn't this the last year of the Pac 12 media contract? I'm guessing that's the difference. If they haven’t applied, how are they accepted without tampering? Seems like it goes against everything I’ve heard since 2010

Gotta imagine the Big12 has an idea of who’s coming next. No way they’d approve #13 without a plan to get #14. And honestly, schedule-wise, 14 isn’t a great number either. So if the TV partners approve, I would think there’s a plan for 16. And now I’d think things will move very quickly for 2024.
Anyone leaving the PAC after ‘23-24 has fulfilled their contract. If they haven’t applied, how are they accepted without tampering? Seems like it goes against everything I’ve heard since 2010
Were they big rivals with other old BXII/B8 schools? I’ve only been an ISU fan since college, 2011
Might as well string it along and keep it in the news cycle. Colorado this week and #14 next week works for me.Gotta imagine the Big12 has an idea of who’s coming next. PI guess, OUT wasn’t either given how it played out. Seems like it’s always apply and we’ll vote. They’re not under any contract that is being breached
I don't like Sunday games either, is it too late to claim ISU religion doesn't allow us to play Fri/Sun NCAA games?Don't have time to dig up any old posts, but I wanted BYU back in 2010-11 when the first go-around started. They're definitely a unique school, but they'll be a good add.
Yep, can’t break a contract if your conference hasn’t come up with one yet.Isn't this the last year of the Pac 12 media contract? I'm guessing that's the difference.
True, but we have plenty of big Cyclone memories involving the Buffs, including the infamous '05 tornado game (I was there). Also, Chizik's first year where the students stormed the field after each football win, including the game against CU (there were only 3 wins that year, it was a tough stretch). There are also many more painful ones as well, but we won't talk about Jaquay Walls...whoops.KU ksu would be more rivals
Good question! I looked it up and couldn't find anything.Anyone know if the Big 12 still owns the rights to Big 14, Big 16, etc?

Not for Keith Murphy. Sports at 6 and 10 were covering Ferentz, Cooper “The Punk” DeJean and Caitlin Clark. What's also great about this...it's taking the spotlight away from the Big 10 Media Days and shining it on the Big 12. Another home run!

There was a blizzard game back in the 90s that you can find on YouTube. Had maybe 4,000 people at the game.True, but we have plenty of big Cyclone memories involving the Buffs, including the infamous '05 tornado game (I was there). Doesn't show up as live or dead on IS trademark search. Must have let them lapse several years ago.Anyone know if the Big 12 still owns the rights to Big 14, Big 16, etc?
