New record... fewest points ever scored by an opponent in a half at ISU. Old record is 11 points in 1951... which makes this even more impressive, considering how much more uptempo basketball is these days. 11 points was probably not unheard of in the 50s.

FYI- The NCAA record for fewest points in a half in the shot clock era is 4...set by Savannah St in the 2nd half last year vs. K-State. The fewest 1st half points was Penn with 6....also set last year.

Been a long time since I've felt sorry for someone other than our guys who have been putting out amazing effort and getting losses in return lately. That being said. Put the boot on the throat of CU. Keep it up Cyclones.

They've actually had some decent looks. It would be a bit closer had they been able to knock down some open shots.

But we sat CB for an extended period of time, which we wouldn't have had they hung closer.
