I like the 73/27 stuff. Picked up six 3lb tubes for $3.99 each recently. They mark it down sharply when maturity date approaches. I freeze it.
85% is perfect. Your diet likely needs more fat in it, and fewer carbohydrates.

If i could find the courage to reduce carbs in my diet i would no doubt be a healthier individual.85% is perfect. Your diet likely needs more fat in it, and fewer carbohydrates.

You are exactly right and I am glad that I discovered this 5 years ago while still in my late 20s. Carbohydrates and super processed foods are what are killing people. Natural fats from animals and clean fats from avocado, olive oil, and coconut oil are not only very good for your brain but your whole body. Soybean oil, canola oil, palm oil, rapeseed oil, vegetable oil ---all poison.85% is perfect. Your diet likely needs more fat in it, and fewer carbohydrates.

You guys are crazy. For me, I appreciate the convenience of being able to get produce, bath bombs, children's jewelry, plants, deli meat, upgrade my phone plan, do my taxes, play arcade games, buy a used vehicle, have a dermatology exam, play 9 holes of golf, get a coffee, watch a demonstration on expensive cookware, obtain a home equity loan and go to marriage counseling all at one location.

En fuego when you grill it as burgers. Holy cow! I had just cleaned my grill and glad I stuck around for the pyrotechnics!
You'll be lucky if it only skips one beat...I need a 50-50 ground bacon to burger split.
Makes my heart skip a beat

You are right, process foods kill and seed oils are very bad for you. But some clarification on carbs. Sweet potatoes, potatoes, oatmeal, fruit, black beans, rice, quinoa, chick peas, etc.. DO NOT KILL AND DO NOT MAKE YOU FAT. If you have type two diabetes or insulin resistance then to much fat is the issue, not carbs. The advice that a lot of type 2 diabetics get is to eat low carb. All that does is control the symptom and it suppresses insulin, which is not exactly a good idea. I won't go into extreme detail, but insulin is a vital hormone and not evil, to suppress it is not healthy long term. On top of that, eating low carb does not exercise the blood sugar metabolism, in other words it gets out of shape and lazy. Yes, you will walk around with a low A1C on low carb, but your insulin resistance will actually be a lot worse. If you were to take a glucose tolerance test, you would fail miserably. You are exactly right and I am glad that I discovered this 5 years ago while still in my late 20s. Word on the street is that Hy-Vee's Aisles online is now charging 5% more than the stores. Some sale items are excluded. Seems like a really bad idea for a company that's already overpriced and charges a yearly fee. I'm sure it won't deter my wife.
When I compare products, I usually don't see much of a price difference between Hy Vee and Fareway. I started shopping at Fareway more because I would notice my grocery bill was $20-$30 less a week when shopping at Fareway. That reduced cost must be from the savings on "other items".Aisles Online is BLEEDING money for Hy-Vee.. I would probably do the same though as the convenience of doing all of your shopping online, at 10 PM with an 8 AM pickup is pretty sweet.
With a new Fareway next to us.. We haven't shopped at Hy-Vee in over a month.. Savings are less than we hoped for on food, but we get a lot less "other" items because they are not offered at Fareway, so saving $$$ that way
with baby # 3 on the way in a couple of weeks, we are trimming our budget and have started to use Wal-Mart online grocery shopping. I agree that somehow Wal-Mart's customer service with online groceries is better than Hy-Vee.That would match what a lot of restaurants are doing (which isn't any better).
We stopped using Hy-Vee for that forever ago. Turns out that Wal-Mart actually gets the right items and communicates about the ones they can't fill. Somehow in all this, Wal-Mart is becoming the example of customer service done well. It's weird.
