Going to Cal makes tremendous sense. Aimaq had a lot of success at Utah Valley with Madsen as his coach. Madsen has an NBA playing/coaching background.
Really hard coaching job though. Cal doesn’t give a **** about their athletics.

Boo this man!
Only reason I say that is Gilbert will start no matter what. Big lineup, small lineup, he’s a lock to start. The other guys might start but there’s definitely a world where they don’t. Lipsey, Gilbert, and a frontcourt of biliew king and insert any other F/C.

Hasn't always been the case.

And with the Pac12's difficulty getting a TV deal it is probably an eye opener they need to invest in their AD if they want to be a power conference program vs. group conference program.

Could be. But I don’t think the university as a whole cares about their athletics either.

Seems like we are mostly contacting players we have recruited in the past or guys we have a regional connection with. Lots of Wisconsin natives and guys we have existing ties with.
Thats a big thing for TJ- recruiting the area's he knows. We'll see alot of that local recruiting

I think they are decent friends. Could be a package? Never know, but scheduled a visit on the same 2 days seems like a sign
I highly doubt they’re a package. But getting two Las Vegas guys from the same conference in a visit together isn’t a coincidence.
