Also if his wife didn't ***** at him to get inside he would have been standing there in the parking lot watching the thing.

Insane video out of Little Rock. Peak "dumb ways to die" material. No deaths, unbelievably.

But if you ever get the idea to hold a glass door shut during a tornado, don't.

Video
The clouds in the first part of that video are giving me flashbacks. When I was about 4 or 5 years old, my older brother and I would like to climb onto the roof of the barn on our farm, just to hang out. One day we were up there and we’re watching the clouds move around in opposite directions just like that. Our mom yelled at us to come down (we typically tried to stay on the roof side away from the house so she wouldn’t see us up there), and we ended up heading straight to the basement because there was a tornado warning. That tornado passed close to our farm, but not through it, thank goodness.

God bless my mom for putting up with me and my brothers cluelessly putting our lives at risk on a daily basis before I even started kindergarten, lol.

Testifying
It feels like spring today
I thought this AM we were going to be lied to but by lunch time and tonight it was so nice out.
Everyone in our neighborhood was out.

I had the women's title game on garage TV and cleaned out the vehicles in driveway.

So...the timing of this one seems a bit later in the day? Not as likely to impact school dismissal times?
I guess I was thinking this one was supposed to be even later than “Tuesday afternoon”. My daughter has a track meet Tuesday and they have already cancelled at least two meets this year due to weather.

C’mon Mother Nature. I just want to see my daughter run, dammit. Is that too much to ask?

Correct. Unfortunately, this one is looking to be more evening or even after dark than Friday.

Insert running joke here. Spring sports are so damn hard up this way.

To a novice like myself those graphics/data seem exactly like what we saw heading into Friday's outbreak of storms. Yet tomorrow doesn't seem to be getting that much attention? Is there a difference between Friday's and what might happen tomorrow?

Probably less around here since not much happened in the DM area but the national storm chasers are treating it the same way as Friday.

Since there is less of a threat in AR this time, im guessing even more will be in E-IA or W-IL

I'm guessing because it was a weekend plus the Iowa WBB team, people were just focused on other stuff. It's been all over the weather sources I've seen. It's on the Register's front page now.
