YouTube TV Getting Ability to Split Into 4 Screens

I just noticed a weird audio thing. When I switch from multiview to the actual game, my audio goes from PCM to Dolby Digital.

I also just got the email about the price increase. They should have just included 4k. 4k makes up less than 1% of the content.

We have an important update for our members. After nearly 3 years, we’re adjusting our monthly price from $64.99/month to $72.99/month. As content costs have risen and we continue to invest in the quality of our service, we are updating our price to keep bringing you the best possible service.

It looks like by multi view they mean two games
I'm guessing they only have a 2 games or 4 games at a time option. No 3 games. We will see come 1 pm when the KU game starts up if they offer a 4 game option.

Perhaps if they stop adding worthless channels their costs wouldn't go up. They started as a basic set of channels and now they seem to want to cater to every niche interest out there. Not everyone needs all those channels.
worthless channels tend to not cost a lot. ESPN is the hog. The last time I looked, ESPN charges $8 and the next most expensive is $2.

YTTV needs more tiers, I just want sports, none of those other channels matter at all. Will probably cancel after the tourney.
I tend to agree. But at the same time they have the best price and service out there right now. It's the only streaming service I keep year round, while rotating Netflix and HBO depending on what's released.

And it appears the answer to above is a big fat NO.

Their announcement said

Two (or four) is better than one:

So maybe they’re just figuring things out, it is a beta after all.

So far I like the two game option. My hope is when fully rolled out you will be able to select the mix of games. This will be really nice with Sunday Ticket.

Would also be nice with regular TV. Sometimes there are two things I want to watch, but one is more of a monitoring it.

I'll try it later tonight. When I looked earlier it wasn't an option.
