Sean Payton: Hmmmm, live in LA and coach the Chargers or live in Denver and coach the Broncos? Tough choice.
I'm not snarking at you here...They could have conceivably won the championship the year they lost to the Bengals in the arctic.
Otherwise, they haven't ever really been that close.
They made the SBowl in 94 and are 1-3 in AFC championship games.
They just exist.
This has more to do with TV timeslots than the NFL I suppose, but I always felt it was odd to not have both #1 seeds play on Saturday of the divisional round. They've had their rest and could possibly catch an opponent from wildcard weekend on a short week by 1 day. Then if the 1 seeds win, they get the extra day to prep for the CCGs. Last year I believe both 1 seeds were playing on Saturday but in years past, its been a mixed bag of Sat & Sun games.
Agreed. Obviously I'm sure it's huge ratings but playoff Monday night game feels weirdI wish they’d just do sat/sun, each conference gets a day. Rinse and repeat next week.
I bet the rating will not even be that great.Agreed. Obviously I'm sure it's huge ratings but playoff Monday night game feels weird

Does anyone truly believe either team is going anywhere? Is that sarcasm?
Brady vs the Cowboys in the playoffs on Monday night is going to be one of the most watched games all year.
I don't... but I'll still be watching. What else would I do on a Monday night in January?Does anyone truly believe either team is going anywhere?

Duh, I just realized what they’re talking about here.
He should have bet on the Jaguars and broke the sports book (If they even would have taken a bet that large).
