Any chance Ybarra goes at 125? Kysen should beat him obviously but he was another blue chip recruit Iowa failed to develop like Assad.
I don't think Ybarra has taken the mat yet this year so I would be surprised to see him this weekend.Any chance Ybarra goes at 125? Kysen should beat him obviously but he was another blue chip recruit Iowa failed to develop like Assad.'s
It's a good call. There are literally diehard Iowa fans I know that refuse to go to home wrestling meets because that crowd is so awful. After the Wisconsin match my dad asked if I wanted to go to it. I told him even if we won we likely wouldn't make it out alive with all those knuckle draggers. I would LOVE to see us win but don't think we are quite there yet.
Might be time for changing of the guard.I really like our chances but weird **** always happens when we wrestle them, especially in carver.
What I absolutely love, is this crew Dresser has put together is the kind that feeds off of this hate. Pretty sure we'll be fine.I'm not predicting a team win, but the last time we wrestled them in Carver, we lost 18-19 and Gomez had DeSanto on his back for an hour. The crowd will earn them a stall call or two, but I don't think our guys are worried about it.
Lot of exciting matchups, we should learn a lot about where we're at as a program.
Not impressed with Teske or schriever so far. I like our guys and whoever can handle the cut better. If that’s Ramazan, I’m all inWhy is everyone so convinced that Teske is favored at 133 over Rama or Redding?
This is one of the reasons I like Swiderski no matter who they put out there. He is the prototype for dudes who feed off that ****.What I absolutely love, is this crew Dresser has put together is the kind that feeds off of this hate. Pretty sure we'll be fine.
This one will be close. Stay out of the funk and Kraisser can win. I’d hate to see him get decked on some garbage.I don't consider Kraisser the underdog.
Good question. I have Teske winning, and the only reason is that I think it’s a more natural weight for him.Why is everyone so convinced that Teske is favored at 133 over Rama or Redding?
Redding has the offense, but the weight cut is a real problem. Ramazan also with the weight cut but he’s so solid defensively and has picked up some more offense. I like my chances with Ramazan right. I think both are R12 type guys with a chance to place if they manage their weight.Good question. I have Teske winning, and the only reason is that I think it’s a more natural weight for him.
