WBB: General All-NCAA Thread - Not Team Cyclones Stuff

Two future opponents: Hawkeyes travel to play Kansas State Thursday night. On ESPN+. To bad Ayoka Lee is out for the season, I would have liked to see her versus Monika Czinano.

She commits a lot of fouls that are never called. Reminds me of someone but I just can't put my forearm on it? Oh barge it, it might push its way into my head later.
We just have to be ready that she will get away with these as the game is in the CH

Not to surprising with Page Buecker's being a Minnesota gal and all. Damn, will probably be a hot ticket but might have to try and get into William's for this.

That Utah box score is scary. What should stand out other than six players in double figures and three with over 20 is the rebounding disparity. That gave Utah a ton more shots.
OU got run off the floor by Utah tonight, 124-78

The 61 total pts in the 3rd quarter is a pt every 10 seconds of game clock if I calculated that right. We have had some high scoring quarters but have we every scored 41?

Couple of interesting opponents games coming up on ESPN+

Iowa at Kansas State tonight 8:00 p.m.
Nebraska at Drake Saturday 2:00 p.m.
Creighton at UNI Sunday 2:00 p.m.

Didn't notice that UConn and Texas played Monday. UConn beat Texas 83-76. Texas was without Rori Harmon (foot injury).

I feel that every team in the Big 12 is currently slightly over rated. TX is if for no other reason than the fact that Harmon is not available now. She should be ready soon and barring injury to her and others they may well be top 5 material by the end of the year. OU I feel will stay in the top 25 due to soft schedule and and several fairly weak teams in the Big 12. Baylor may have had a top 10 or 12 team if the two big time transfers pan out, but currently the best one (Blackwell) is injured and it may be season ending. The other (Edwards) has eligibility issues and they are now saying she may not see the floor till conference time. If these two could be healthy and on the floor they could beat anybody in the big 12 on any given night with the exception of TX. But it isn't looking like that's the case. A couple of freshman here are really showing good potential and they are fun to watch, and there's still 3 very good little guards left from Kims crew that are impressive most nights. But things are continuing to slowly spiral downward here. But in a couple of years they may be back, only time will tell. Meanwhile it will take a miracle for BU to continue their dominance of the Big 12 this year.

This is the year for ISU to challenge for a title with the pieces that you have. I fear though the Vic has finally got TX poised with his transfers and recruits to be the top finisher this year. With Harmon in I doubt that UConn would have beaten them. The main thing is to take care of business especially against every beatable team. TX may have more injuries and even chemistry issues. ISU should finish no lower than a strong second and hopefully first

Refs were sort of calling it close but after K-State started to get in foul trouble they starting to let things go, at least for K-State in the second half. Gregory fell down backwards twice and got to go to the line. Prior to that she went to the line after a shot of hers that was cleanly blocked. Iowa's not good on defense but they sort got screwed the last two minutes.
