Montgomery to Rams?

I'm a bears fan and I've been hoping that he'll get traded. Although the rams running game doesn't seem like much of an improvement.
If it happens, I hope it happens this week, I have Herbert on my Fantasy and need to start him this week due to byes.
I believe the deadline is today so we shall know more soon....
I hope he isn't traded because I have tickets to the Bears v Lions in two weeks. My 10yo son loves David and I hope he is there for him to watch.

Bears have plenty of cap space ahead; stop trading everyone who has proven they are worth a damn. Pretty please. An ISU connection to the Bears is the only thing that has gotten me through the past 3 NFL seasons

He’d do much better with Bills. Unfortunately, he’s not getting any younger and may end up playing RB2 unless he can start getting bigger holes.
Rams average 16.9ppg, Bears average 19.4, solid take. Rams suck .

Having Stamford doesn’t help. He reminds me so much of Garopollo. Some good games but too many mistakes.
Rams would do a lot better if they had a serviceable run game and Monty provides that. (They also could use a WR with speed to take the top off the defense too).
It sounds like the Bears coaching staff likes Montgomery. He's a culture guy in the NFL too
But....his production has been overshadowed and the Bears are in full rebuild.
If he goes he'd look damn good in a Rams uniform. I've always thought he would be a great Cowboy if they kicked Zeke out and brought in Monty on a cheaper deal.
