Rumors I've heard are that Alberts may have thought about firing Frost after last year but boosters in the western part of the state said we won't give anymore money if that is done. I'm sure CMC would love to have put up with that crap.

I’m sure this is a consideration for any coach with any opening. Some programs you probably deal with it because it comes with the territory. Not sure NU is that program anymore. And not sure Campbell has had anything close to that at Toledo or ISU.

Kleinman and Leipold both gave basic none answers.

They both said basically they like where they are and are focused on where they are. Blah blah coach speak.

Neither came out and said absolutely no they werent interested nor not going.

With that even if that did we all know what "firmly entrenched" means What was it 2 weeks later?

None of these are going to escape speculation unless the sign a significant extension, or the job gets filled...until the next opens.
