I actually hope Nebraska gets a decent coach who can beat Iowa consistently. Rather see Nebraska win compared to Iowa

How about if they get one that makes Iowa their Super Bowl but then sucks the rest of the time. That would be even better
If Suh gets it, he wouldn't last 2 games before he ends up stomping on some poor bastard from a division 1-AA school
First they’d need an AD who understood that.Any ex-Husker would have the same fatal flaws Frost has.
They need somebody who realizes Nebraska is a dog$hit program with few if any natural advantages. Not some ex Husker who thinks national championships are a birthright.
Not only that, but they expect him to make the decision to jump ship mid-season...leaving Iowa State prior to November and taking over the Nubs program before the snow flies. Absolutely brutal...Why do Nebraska fans think Campbell actually wants to go to Lincoln? Other than their history, Nebraska has nothing going for them. They've faded into bottom feeder of the B1G. Campbell isn't leaving ISU for that dumpster fire of a program.
It would also be the worst idea for any current head coach right now because Nebraska looks to be on their way to another 3-5 win season. Their AD is horrible and their fans will already want any coach on the chopping block for taking over a team that ends up with an awful record. Not only that, but they expect him to make the decision to jump ship mid-season...leaving Iowa State prior to November and taking over the Nubs program before the snow flies. Yup. I want Nebraska to be absolutely terrible forever. If they had stayed in the Big 12, I think much of the defection that followed never happens and we're sitting in a conference that's right there with the SEC and Big 10, and has all the great geography and historical rivalries that we've lost. How about if they get one that makes Iowa their Super Bowl but then sucks the rest of the time. I think Stoops and Campbell both have short lists for jobs they'd leave their current schools for, and Nebraska isn't on it.The fact that Campbell and Stoops are the highest off on the list tells you how delusional they are. Those are the two on there most likely not to leave their school. They’re both big culture guys that have not only built up their culture at their respective school, but bought in to the communities that they live in. I’d be just as shocked to see Stoops leave as I would to see Campbell leave.
Because it’s easier to win at NU and the big 10 west than in the SECMike Stoops is from Youngstown, OH, not far from Lexington. That area is a great fit for him. I haven’t looked at his roster but he must recruit Ohio and Pennsylvania hard. So why would he go 12 hours west to Lincoln which has a very small local recruiting base?
His team looked good Saturday night, Nebraska hasn't said that in awhile.Because it’s easier to win at NU and the big 10 west than in the SEC
Fully agree. Interesting on Ohio State for Stoops, I didn’t resize he was from Ohio. He seems like an SEC/southern boy through and through to me (I know he went to iowa though). I fully agree, though because of that, I’d probably add Alabama to Stoop’s list.I think Stoops and Campbell both have short lists for jobs they'd leave their current schools for, and Nebraska isn't on it.
I think Stoops is Iowa and Ohio State. I think Campbell is Ohio State, Notre Dame, and Michigan.
The Stoops family is from Youngstown. Whole bunch of coaches come out of that NE Ohio/NW Pennsylvania area.Fully agree. Interesting on Ohio State for Stoops, I didn’t resize he was from Ohio. The B1G is going division-less as soon as the California schools come in. Much harder to make a B1G championship game when the eastern schools can take both spots.Because it’s easier to win at NU and the big 10 west than in the SEC
