I'm sure Iowa didnt't really want him that much anyways....
According to 247, he just snuck in at 25th best ISU commit all time.
I'm feeling pretty good about our in-state recruiting lately. Something past staffs havent been able to quite crack.
Love that we are getting these Iowa kids early in the recruiting cycle. Testament to the job Matt Campbell and staff have done to build the prestige of the Cyclone program.

Yah seemed like there was some concern earlier this year about in state recruiting.
Of the top 10, Iowa is ahead 4-3. 2 guys are going out of state (assuming Proctor doesn't go to Iowa) and 1 guy is still uncommitted, Asa Newsom.
2 of the guys Iowa got are from Marion and Iowa City. ISU will always struggle there. And a 3rd Iowa guy is a legacy.
Incredible job by ISU coaches.
