The only thing that has to happen by Wednesday is withdrawing from the draft. There’s no timeline to make the college choice, other than preferably before practice starts and obviously before classes start.

If AJ doesn’t commit this week, I’m going to be a bit concerned.
I’ll be concerned if the Bucks tell him they want to offer him a two way deal in the next few days, or if Iowa state starts recruiting again. Whichever comes first and probably at the same time.
Does withdrawing from the draft still allow a player to accept a two-way deal?
I think you have to declare yourself draft eligible to sign a deal. Otherwise players who wanted to pick and choose where they play could circumvent the draft and then sign a deal with the team of their choosing after the draft. That kind of defeats the purpose of a draft.
