Last year Gabe and AJ combined for 138 assists and 161 TO's. NO WAY you want 2/3 of your starting backcourt to be suspect with the ball... Aj gets a pass being a dynamic scorer and 39% 3 point shooter. I also don't want Gabe and Williams on the court much is Williams is coming off a 23% 3 point shooting year.. That's 2/3 of your backcourt that isn't a great shooter. Add in a center who can't shoot from deep..

Williams and Holmes had a combined 214 assists and 116 TO's. Add in AJ Green and it's 184 TO's to 291 assists. That is a backcourt with 3 guards capable of handling the ball. Holmes shot 30% from 3 against top 100 opponent's last season, is the same size (maybe longer) and can facilitate far better than Gabe. Would really open up the pick and roll game with Osun and those passer or an outlet 3 to Jaz and Tre King.

I like Gabe off the bench in a defensive lockdown role with a mindset to attack to rim. If you need shooting off the bench. Hopefully Grill can fill that role.

So did he play PG for the Panthers or was he alongside truer PGs during his tenure?

This is what I think also..Ward backing Osun, Kunc and King splitting at the 4, and the five guards averaging between 35-17 minutes a game. Green getting the most minutes with Gabe behind him. They'll all get good minutes. Nice depth and you never know when a freshman will surprise, but that's not necessary next season.

How long till you acknowledge that Prohm is a terrible Coach? Don’t hate the guy. But he absolutely underperformed in Coaching the talent we had. It is those who didn’t want TJ the first time or the second time that gave us Prohm. And they can’t accept he was a terrible hire.

I can accept that. He started out ok but then drove Cyclone BB into a hole that I had never seen so bad.
