I don't 100% agree with your assessment. All this email says is that the affected ticket holders are protected from any price changes/donation requirements for three years. It says nothing about reseating or reindexing for the general stadium population

As I read this, I thought the presence of donation color levels indicates the "reindexing" that will take place in 2025.

Those displaced from the former public sections (no donation required) will be able to pick from any of the vacated student sections with no donation required until 2025. At that time, people will have to donate at the appropriate level to keep those seats. Otherwise they will need to move to seats in a section that matches their donation level.

And although it doesn't say so on this chart, I think there is a limit of 4 tickets for each donation that will also be enforced in 2025. I suspect that there will continue to be no limit on number of tickets in the public/no donation sections.

Yeah, we've been in section 2 for 15 years or so, so I highly doubt they are going to let ticketholders from the displaced sections get first choice if they are going to reindex seats in 2025. f they do that, we even donate but we love where are seats are at, then 2024 may be the last year we go to games. I get it with the $$ athletics need but this will not sit well with others already in those established sections.

I don't think it will be a free-for-all for seats in the northwest end or in the southwest corner. People who renewed their seats in those sections still be able to keep them. This selection process is for those with displaced seats to be able to pick from available seats (the whole old student section, top of southwest upper deck, and scattered seats in the southwest upper and lower decks).

Then, there will be another selection process later in which everyone can move to other available seats, albeit in order of donation level and priority points.

As a 10+ year Section B guy, I sure hope they don't displace any of us pre-existing season tix holders, and I can't imagine they will. I donate, but sit in the non-donor section since tix are cheaper and the view isn't that much different than being 20 rows higher and only 1 section nearer the 50. I've been moving down and in for a decade, finally 2nd row!

I will miss having the students across from us, they are loud and that is fun. Maybe they will project sound better from the corner and the whole stadium will be louder, idk.

I just assumed that when us displaced season ticket holders choose our seats it will be from remaining seats available. I don't think there is any way they will displace others for us. They won't and they shouldn't; that would just magnify the problem.

Not exactly sure.

You get your choice of the old student sections first. I checked if I could jump in line in that area since I'm trying to put tickets back together and was told no.

Yeah, a lot of decisions to make among our group of 7.

Really going to miss our front row seats we have had since the SEZ opened. It was nice to never have anyone standing in front of us.

May is coming to a close awfully quickly for the AD to get the displaced ticket holders placed by the end of the month…

It's literally like a one day process....
Won’t they have to give multiple days for each level of donor just like the regular seat selection? Not complaining, I’m just starved for Cyclone sports content and picking my seats would give me at least something to look forward to.

Seat selection email received. Process will be completed by June 3rd with the seat selections occurring the days preceding. I assume it opens on Tuesday after memorial day.
