Was watching that live and was going to post it once i found it but you got it. About a cool a thing as you'll see a fan do.

I follow Rex Chapman on twitter and he's all about posting positive stuff. Great moment and quite the contrast from the video making the rounds of two fatties fighting in the bleachers at Wrigley.

Anyone know how this Bally+ streaming option is going to work for baseball? I am a Twins fan in NE Iowa who can't watch **** right now because of the rules of the stupid blackout. Anyone got an info on if this streaming service changes that?

Ump behind the plate in NYY/Texas game is having a pretty bad day behind the plate (both ways). Someone should bounce one up there and see if he'll call it a strike. After one really bad call he did the glare/stare at the batter. He's going to run someone before the game is over.

Nester Cortez with a no-hitter through 6 innings. Of course Yanks haven't scored for him. Now has walked two. If it wasn't a no-hitter they would pull him. It's one of those things that goes against winning a 0-0 game when you can't really pull him but you should.

Edit: No-no through 7 now but walked two and looked not sharp in the 7th. Though call for Aaron Boone. Nobody warming up. I do love me some Nester Bester Tester Cortez but I think this might be a mistake.

As a White Sox fan I watched their weekend series against the Red Sox (on 3 different networks...ugh)...but wow! Did not realize the Red Sox are 10 back in that division already. That will not be an easy climb for them...Toronto, Tampa and NYY...yikes! Will Alex Cora hang on to that job? I mean...they left it open for him for a season so they like him but something has to give right?

The Red Sox are just plain not good. They do not have the firepower at all. It's really weird.

From my understanding, yes. The thing that causes the blackouts through MLB is them attempting not to piss off the RSN's which are the way they make most of their money. But the Bally app will be delivered directly from them (the RSN) so it won't be blackout affected.

But this is the MLB so god only knows...

It is weird...their infield alone should be out of this world! I mean...I get it...sometimes people just don't play up to abilities or go through slumps...but wow! I thought the move to bring Jackie Bradley back seemed odd...but other than that I thought that roster would be solid!

I am guessing the only way you can get the MLB games on this service though is if you are in-market...right? Meaning a territory claimed by that team? Could a Royals fan subscribe to Bally's streaming service if they lived in Seattle and still get Royal's games? Otherwise it would be competing directly with MLB.tv...I don't see how or why MLB would want that?

That's a good question. I don't know the answer but my guess would be you could get it anywhere. MLB has kowtowed to the regional sports networks for so long, I'd be kind of surprised if they put their foot down on this.

Bally sports doesn't have permission to show baseball online yet I don't think.

If someone could figure this out, post it here. If my twins keep winning, I’m gonna be pissed if I can’t watch them because of these stupid ass rules.

Jays Yimi Garcia just got tossed in NY for hitting Josh Donaldson after Stanton homered. Yank fan here but thought it looked like a pitch that just got away from him. Looking at where catcher set up and how surprised he looked plus the pitchers reaction. Even Yank announcers thought that at most Garcia would get a warning. Got to think it was 75% he was not throwing at him with the score 3-3.

Idk if it’s just social media making their mistakes easier to see but it Feels like the umps are worse this year than normal. Not just that jackass Angel.

Just saw the replay, that is so bad. Umps HAVE to look at the broader scope of the situation in that scenario

Wow. Crazy 12-0 no-hitter tossed by a rookie. Plus position player pitching down 10-0 so Rendon bats lefthanded for first time in career. And homers.

More example of the umps thinking people are there to see them. Second pitch of the AB in a 3-3 game and you think he threw at him on purpose? Just absolutely ridiculous not to just give a warning.
