We're basically in a holding pattern until after the NBA evaluation period and, honestly, I don't think AJ knows what he wants to do yet until he gets that feedback.

Now, obviously, on the floor he can play for any program in the country and the further away from that surgery he gets the better he's going to be. His movement and athleticism were noticeably different from January 1 on.

I'd give an ever so slight lean to him ending up in Ames. I think his NBA evaluation is going to suffer a bit because he's in a role that he won't play at the next level and I think they'll tell him that they'd like to see him play off the ball more and that is going to be more important to him than being the 2nd or 3rd all time leading scorer in Valley history.

Let's say 45% he ends up in Ames, 40% he stays in Cedar Falls and 15% that he decides to go pro at some level.
I appreciate the feedback and your thoughts. It is pretty clear AJ is a great kid I hope he does what is best for him. It would be incredible to see him in Ames next year. If Brockington amd Kalscheur both return and Hunter takes the big leap we all expect his soph season it could be a pretty special roster. With Iowa States potential road to a final 4 next year being Des Moines/Kansas City excitement for the season would be pretty darn high.

Notable that ISU isn’t on the list considering the debate I’ve seen once he announced his intention to leave UNI. Not familiar with Noah game to have a take myself but he does have some solid programs reaching out.

Kyle Green knows him better than any other coach not at UNI, so will be interesting if we reach out or not.

He seems like one of those "tweeners" Tech loves. Tough enough to defend a guy bigger than him on the block and athletic enough to defend someone smaller on perimiter. Switch all screens in your face defense. Absolute mismatch nightmare on other end.

Not sure he has the quickness that Tech loves. Also doesn't have the length or toughness of a post kid like Silva.

He's a big-bodied 6'6" stretch four who shot around 30% from 3 for the season. He will get interest from P6 programs because he can score from 3, but I don't see him starting for a team in the top half of a P6 conference.

Really nice bench player for a good P6 program. He will play if he hits shots, if he doesn't back to the bench.
