I read somewhere late last year from some critic that had seen all of the episodes that it was going to be action packed, dark and bloody. So far 0-3.

Wish I could find that write up

And yet, feels even more cartoony than those did. The gang was almost Saturday morning cartoon silly. The shiny bikes just felt weird, almost like it was a merchandise decision to create something that would pop on a store shelf.

Yeah. I guess. I just enjoy Star Wars for what it is. A genre for kids that I grew up watching in the 80's.

But even watching the original trilogy, while there were humorous moments, it never felt cartoon-ish. It was simplistic but earnest. It seems with the Special Edition adds and then the Prequel Trilogy they felt the need to add straight up Three Stooges antics as if that was necessary to appeal to kids.

I still am waiting for the Boba Fett from The Mandalorian who was wrecking fools to show up. Instead, we've gotten old-man b-grade action Fett for 3 episodes so far. This all has been a clear downgrade from The Mandalorian.

Ewoks and action figures. Enough said.

Jennifer Beals is also aging gracefully, it appears.

Episode 4 was pretty entertaining.
Better for certain. Finally moving the present day story forward with enough detail to actually get a sense of what is going on.

I've enjoyed the Book of Boba Fett so far, and Episode 5 was the best episode (which what does that say about the show if the best episode doesn't have the title character in it?)

It is nice to be on Tatooine and was cool to spend time with the Tuskens, but there have been low points. Looking forward to see how it all plays out in the end, I am hoping we see Danny Trejo go Machete on some Pyke ass.

How I rate things so far:
1) Anything with the Mandalorian
2) Time with the Tuskans
.
.
.
3) Boba Fett learning to run a mob/gang.
.
.
.
4) Gangster teenagers on floating mopeds. (who thought that was a good design choice?)
