Wrestling point system is so freaking weird as someone who doesn't really care about the sport. It seems like penalty deductions as a tiebreaker would be like deciding a tie football game by number of penalties.

Have you ever met their fans, and especially their wrestling fans? They love that stuff. They are a bunch of wife beating hillbillies.
HWT a good example of a ref over zealous with the stalling calls in favor of the Elite team. No way if the Cyclone is the much higher ranked guy is that much over because of stalling. No way! Now was our guy getting dominated yes but he was trying.
Iowa is a super talented team, but if there is a more classless program in any sport at any level I’d love to see it.
They truly are disgusting people. Hope they can clean the stench out of Hilton before the next mens basketball game.
Unfortunately I spent two years in Iowa City for grad school, at the end of the Gable era. I just thought maybe they would finally reach some kind of breaking point. Should’ve known better.
@Gonzo do you have a defense for your Wolrd/Olympic champion coaches throwing around F bombs at the tv commentators and taunting the opposing staff? Meanwhile honesty wrestling pretty poorly against the 25th ranked team in the country?

The Hawks have a few guys you cheer for. Young, Marinelli, Kem and Warner all worth cheering for.
The Brands are awesome role models. Cant think of a better mentor for anyone's son.
