OU premium board says Campbell interview already happened

Honestly, I get the ND potential, but OU boggles my mind and would be incredibly disappointing if something happens with that. Frankly, I'm annoyed that there was an interview (if there actually was).
Unless it’s a smoke screen, Man. Where have you been? This is all slight of hand, Cloak and Dagger type ****. It wasn’t even Campbell’s real birthday the other day.
The interview could also have been Matt answering the phone, Oklahoma saying hey we want you to come coach for a butt load of money, Matt saying no thanks and then Oklahoma leaking it was an "interview" to save face
FWIW, I check in on this thread like twice a day haha. I doubt he interviewed with OU at all
OU Board of Regents to consider athletics renovations, faculty raises, Bob Stoops compensation fee
The OU Board of Regents will vote on a $16 million budget for upgrades and renovations to OU athletic facilities in its Dec. 2 meeting, according to the meeting agenda.
"Stoops will be given a $325,000 bonus for the game on top of his current salary as the special assistant to the vice president for intercollegiate athletics programs and director of athletics."
I'm very skeptical of the OU interview rumor.
The Football Braniacs is a decent source. But like poster above said, literally could have just been them calling him and him saying "no interest"
by your thinking Chizik should've worked out. Rhoads should've worked out. Everyone between Bruce and McCarney should've worked out.
Seeing as it's easy to win in this conference in Ames Ia. Getting to 7 wins is historic for this program. Now that 7 wins is considered a let down year, I have very little confidence that we can just say "peace" to the coach/staff that made that a reality and things will continue on it's own no matter who takes over.
Exactly. People need to realize these schools like OU, USC, Texas, etc. have massive egos. They are not going to report that they wanted a coach from Iowa State, Cincinnati, etc. and that coach didn't even want to talk to them. They are going to spin the hell out of it that they "interviewed" and are just going a different direction or what have you.
Too much pride to be hurt if a lowly school like Iowa State is "viewed" as a better job to said wanted coach than OU.
