OSU can afford to lose a game and stay in the conference race, ISU cannot, its as simple as that. They have already played and beaten Baylor and UT and only have us and OU which will be in Stillwater.
The game is in Ames, we are playing well, just need to stop the Warren kid and not allow their QB to get out and run and we will be fine.
This game will feature the best to defenses in the conference, so it should be a low scoring game.

The following back end ranked teams lost.
texas, ark, byu, asu, Florida.
I could see one of the SEC teams staying in the top 25 with the addition of Baylor, Auburn and Air Force. We will be in the 25-27 range.

Forgot about Purdue. They will likely be in.

Meaningful football is fun. Need to win to stay in the conference battle. OSU looked good against TX. Sanders and Warren are tough and their D is stingy. Should be a close game. Glad it’s Brocktober!

Probably in the wrong thread to ask this, but did it seem like we were moving Brock around a little more last night and throwing deeper a 'little' more? I realize the opponent often dictates that, and Brock isn't necessarily the most accurate on the real deep balls, but I liked the versatility of the patterns/receptions. Do think we will have to open it up and execute on some deeper routes to beat OkSt. who has an impressive defense.
