In the Stands

I believe there's pictures if you're that curious. I try to block that thread out of memory along with the shoe box....

Must have something to do with the Pineapple incident from How I Met Your Mother
I know his friend was Steve because some guy kept yelling for Steve and finally got his attention after yelling it from 5-6 different spots. Guy looked like he was crying because he couldn’t get Steve’s attention. Steve and pineapple left when another guy finally yelled at pineapple that Steve’s buddy was leaving.

Just relaxed in my seat and guess what sits down in front of me? Take a WILD guess?

Not kidding, got to our seats and I saw him kind of look up and I didn't think about but went to sit down and saw spit on my seat. I don't know for sure he did it so didn't say anything. He was also a loud, cursing idiot who knew better than the coaching staff on every play and he has no filter because every thought that ran through his head he verbalized.

If you had said that during the Iowa game, I may have had to admit the cursing part but I was pretty content and calm for the KU game, and I dont spit. I actually noticed several people I know were in 29 also.

the stadium complaint (not a complaint) thread reminded me of these. Now that I am out of state….. what’s word in the stands this last week?

Juicy, funny, happy, sad… all are good answers.

One thing we noticed was after the UNI win, the band played Sweet Caroline which seemed to me to fall flat. This week they played the actual song over the PA and it rocked. Even in the rain and after most of the crowded headed for the lots before the end. Those that stayed were rewarded. It was awesome

after the first quarter, my 7 year old son turned to me and said "I feel kinda bad for the other team. Is it okay if I say 'Go Jayhawks' so they get at least one point?" I told him that he could do it quietly.

Also, there were 3 KU fans sitting in the row behind us. They were all probably college age, 2 guys and a girl. They seemed friendly, but left after the blocked FG. I suppose they wanted to beat traffic back to Lawrence.
