Is Iowa State still doing the presale for the grass passes? I don't see a link out on the website for it.

I owe you a beer for starting this thread. Or more accurately, my friend who is going to benefit from a prepaid parking pass owes you a beer. I probably would have missed the opportunity otherwise.

Ha no worries. I was just confused that the link hadn't been sent out yet. The last two home games the info was out there the day before. I needed to grab multiple passes for family so I wanted to have it all figured out.

Not sure how the public lots were, but getting out of G7 the past two games has been a **** show. Didn’t move an inch for almost an hour and a half after the Iowa game ended, and by that point the lot was half empty from early leavers.

My understanding is that I can access a grass lot with my donor pass for another lot, correct? Looking to setup with some folks coming to town.

How has parking been getting out of these lots?

Our daughter was in G7 and took her over an hour to get out. We were in the Haunted Forest and probably took us 5 minutes. This was walking out of the stadium once the Iowa game was over.

I've never heard of that, probably want to get that confirmed before trying. If you're looking for just a general public lot, you should just buy one for $20 & sell your donor pass (I'll take it!). I also have a G7 I would trade you if that's the lot you're looking for.

If your park on the south side of 16th it's much better getting out compared to the north. They push the south to duff and the north back towards University Blvd which is incredibly dumb.

Always seemed like everything east of university blvd needed to be sent east. Even moreso with the grand extensions coming through. That intersection at S16th is a mess of traffic coming out of the S-lots and the traffic coming down university from the north.

Right-turn exits are the easiest solution when the road is only 1 lane in each direction. When South 16th widens to 4 lanes (and/or gets a stoplight by the Vet Med entrance) in a few years, it'll be a lot easier to send everyone east toward Duff.

I’m in G6 and would like to find another pass for that lot or just go to the grass lots. I swear I read a couple of weeks ago that my pass would work for pay lots, but can’t find it.

I doubt it does. Otherwise you could have several open spots in G6 and have overflow in the grass lots possibly.
