I view Singlespeed in the same way as Big Grove. The main distribution beers are all good. Not a single bad beer. I've had whirled wide haze and enjoyed it, but I haven't had a ton of single release Singlespeed beers. Sounds like I need to start buying more Confluence.

I'll echo BAClone, term oil fluffernutter is amazing. I had it the same day as Lua's Roam and it stomped it.

Bumping the thread to brag on some recent amazing beers I've enjoyed. #1 on the list is one I splurged for and glad I did -- Dimensional collab with 608. It's a 11% triple, but so juicy you'd never notice. Whoa. Get it while you can, if you are anywhere near Dubuque.

OG Duckies is still available at Lua. Solid, juicy, more dank.

Overly Prompt, another banger from Adventurous. I'd had a 4-pack a couple weeks ago and counted my lucky stars when I found another at my local beer shop. It's a QUAD ringing in at 12.5% (!!) so you have to be careful, but again there's so much juice the boozy hit is more subtle than you'd expect. It's not available on their store any longer, but maybe you could get lucky like I did last week and find the last of the cans where you are.

Others from Adventurous you might still find out east is Pod Unsubscribed, incredible flavor bomb and Easy Peel, an all-Citra double IPA that is maybe a creamier version of King Sue -- it looks like there are multiple hop-bill versions of this one out there now.

One more I'm hoping to find, also from Adventurous is More than Suitable, a triple with a favorite hop bill of Citra-Strata-Mosaic.

Thats a killer lineup. Adventurous finally opened up their taproom over the weekend, I need to make a stop soon.

I really wish I lived close enough to visit their taproom. All the best to them! Hopefully they are open the next time we are driving through QC.

“The site criteria in the proposal includes 15,000 to 20,000 square feet of indoor space to house both a taproom and brewery and at least 3,000 square feet of outdoor bar space in the Des Moines metro. Toppling Goliath intends to include a full-service restaurant, private event space and a gift shop in the future location.”

Oh man first Big Grove and now TG. This is awesome news for Des Moines.

Barn Town just had some interesting ones come out. Ass in the Sand, Toes in the Water and Painkiller. Kind of fruity, two of them are spiced. Ass in the Sand was an interesting kind of Sangria/jungle juice feel.

Nice. I love their sours. The blue berry muffin sour they have now is great. Also their Groovy Ruby IPA is the first I've ever really enjoyed.

I was so pumped they started putting Groovy Ruby in pint cans. It was only draft or crowlers until now. It's probably my favorite beer, certainly my favorite IPA.

Yes sir. Got a half finished 4 pack of Ruby at home. I go there at least once a week.

Winter beer season might be my favorite. I see Confluence is getting ready to release their spruce and cranberries saison. Are there any other holiday/winter beers from Iowa breweries that should be on my radar?
