I am just now watching trough Clone Wars for the first time, because I've heard great things about them, and Rebels. I'll be interested to see where everything goes with The Bad Batch by the time I get there.

Are you watching in chronological order? Or are you watching based on episode order?

Timeline wise, I'd recommend actually watching Bad Batch prior to Rebels

Hang in there with Clone Wars, it does take a few seasons to really get going. When it is all said and done, I consider Clone Wars to be the decently superior show to all the animated shows. The last few episodes of the new final season are some of the best anything Star Wars out there. Also, for tie-in purposes, I'd recommend watching the Clone Wars animated movie too, even though it is pretty terrible.

Where does the movie fit canonically? I was wondering about that.
I'm in season 3 right now and they are definitely developing the character that I've heard of from Clone Wars, but never knew where they came from. Ventress, Savage Opress, and the Night Sisters.

I honestly don't know what order is best. I just started Clone Wars first because I was watching with my 4 year old, but he doesn't have the patience to watch a series in order so he just watches with me when he wants and asks a million questions.

The film chronologically takes place between the Season One episode "The Hidden Enemy" and Season Three episode "Clone Cadets."

Well, here is the episode chronological order:

I'd recommend following this even though you are already decently into the series.

Here's a chronological list. In the first couple seasons, the story arcs jump around a little.

Finished The Bad Batch S1 and really thought the series ended on a pretty good note with its two-part finale. It at least made me start to appreciate what they are going for and want to see more. Essentially, the show started really good and ended pretty good, with a fair amount of pointless meandering in the middle. I guess the same can be said about a lot of shows out there. In the end, was it Clone Wars good? Probably not, but it might be as good as your average Rebels season.

I thought the two part finale was by far the best part of the season.

Things I liked:
-Delving into the Empire going from clones to regular conscripts
-Crosshair being on the Empire side and issues with dealing with that
-Loved seeing Cad Bane again
-Seeing Hera before she was a rebel
-Rhea Perlman did a good job as Cid
-Some decent storylines, some cool worlds to see
-Fall of Kamino

Things I didn't like:
-Omega. They went too far with the accent, she's just annoying.
-Wrecker seems to have the brain of an 8 year old.
-Hunter pretty much does whatever Omega says. Like, quit letting the little girl make all your decisions.

The actress who plays Omega actually just sounds like that. She's from New Zealand. I mean the casting might have been incorrect but that's just the way she talks.

Wrecker is supposed to be stupid.

Agreed on Hunter. Crosshair even says it at the end, "she's giving the orders now?". That said she was in her element, they ended up in the place she grew up. But yes, overall Omega was the weakest part of the series.

Have you guys watched the new Star Wars: Visions trailer? Not really sure what I think about Star Wars getting the full anime treatment. I enjoy good anime, but the crossover seems odd.

I'm very excited for the Star Wars: Visions anthology. I've been a sucker for anthologies since Ani-matrix and those are big time studios contributing. I doubt these will be cannon and join other great EU stories in Legends.

The first episode is great. Watch it in Japanese with subtitles. There's a lot of action and some of the violence is giving me pause if I'll let my 7 year old watch it. Animation-style is very similar to the anime sequence in Kill Bill Vol 1.

Second episode is a complete 180 in animation and story-telling. Far-more kid friendly.

Just had the for one episode tonight. Episode one was very cool. The animation style was a little clunky, but did a wonderful job invoking Kurosawa. It also included novel and thematic lightsaber and force powers. I'd like to know more about the Ronin.

Thanks for the audio trip. Didn't realize there is Japanese tracks for these.

It was really up and down for me, mostly because the studios - I have a real love/hate relationship with Japanese animation. I like the harder stuff and not the stuff that looks like Mega Man or something.

First episode was excellent, I really liked "4. The Village Bride", "5. The Ninth Jedi", "7. The Elder", and "9. Akakiri".

I think 1, 7, and 9 are the strongest episodes.

Yup, those were definitely the strongest episodes, but I'll add that Episode 6 was my favorite. It was a perfect balance of Astroboy and Star Wars elements and told such a simple, yet great story.
