Well I don't like it. If it gets adopted it would be fine with me also. Don't really care.

I don’t like it either, but was just saying if you want to be consistent that’s what makes sense. TJ is what I’m calling him.

Noticing that Wisc, Nebr, and Kansas all supposedly contacting Drake's transfer Yesefu. Am I missing something about our returning team, that he wouldn't fit on it? Wondering if we made any contact there.

2008-09 Ames with Bubu, Barnes, and McDermott was probably the best team this state has ever seen. Also had a 4 man with D1 offers. McDermott and Bubu were vastly overshadowed in the recruiting scene because they had the best player in the country on their team, much like Georges with Nerlens

What, Georges played with Nerlens Noel?

I really think the staff is all in on Hunter and hasn't been connected with any PGs due to a belief he can play right away and to not put competition that could cause him to waiver on his commitment. We haven't seen the staff going after any PG's let alone Yesefu.
As we know contact doesn't mean necessarily mean offer, especially if is Yesefu's camp providing the info. Also he may have no interest in ISU.

Iowa Falls when Nick Collison played deserves a mention for sure. They would have been a really good probably great team without him but with him they were unstoppable.

There was a Lindeman kid that was an all MVC type player, Lofstead kid who played D1 baseball and had mid major type basketball offers. Howard and Liekweg played college football if I remember right.

not on the same level but Winfield Mt. Union in the early 90s had Jess Settles (Iowa), Klay Edwards (Iowa st), and some kid I believe went to UNI...on a 1A team

And they got their butts kicked by Aplington in the finals with Darian Devries, Jared Devries, Travis Schipper, Clint Peters etc. They were class A.

Would have liked to have Robbins from Minnesota but most likely that's a no based on the other bigs coming in. I'd rather have Robbins but whatevs.

That roster can get to .500 in league play with health and some league help this off-season (transfers out and such)

In seriousness, I suppose it is possible. Mostly it depends on how well/quickly TJ can get a team to play together. Teams historically do not do well when they have to replace a lot of the scoring from prior year. If you have a solid system foundation, that reduces the effect.

TJ's first couple teams at UNLV had a lot of turnover, and they weren't immune to this effect. So I am not super optimistic about the chemistry all coming together to produce a bubble team in year 1. That's not a dig, just facing fact it is a really hard thing to do in the first place.
