Pretty surprising cliffhanger to episode 3, but not mind blowing. I wonder if this was the “surprise cameo” they were talking about before?

I’m a little disappointed this series hasn’t generated nearly as much water cooler talk as WandaVision. There’s a lot of interesting things afoot, and I think it’s definitely entertaining. Maybe WandaVision has caused a lot of us to resist the urge to create fan theories.

I'm enjoying the series so far. Just as much as I came to enjoy "Wandavision" after the initial WTF vibes of the first couple of episodes faded away.

Definitely pretty edgy and gritty for the Marvel/Disney universe. There was actually a lot of violence in the most recent episode that somewhat surprised me.

Yeah, this last episode had action/violence more to "The Wolverine" standard than the typical MCU movie standard.

I feel like Falcon and Winter Soldier is fine. It doesn't have a lot of depth to it, and feels pretty derivative some of the time. Episode three, for example, was a bunch of action movie scenes that we've already seen in many other films.
It's pretty by the numbers, and I feel like if we didn't already know the characters, a lot more of the warts would show through. That said, I'll keep watching it. I don't hate it at all. It just seems like it could have been better.

The third, and likely final, trailer for Black Widow dropped yesterday. While the majority of the trailer is full of flashbacks from previous Avenger's films, specifically that pivotal moment from Endgame, there is some new footage that seems to be spoilery. I'll post the trailer for those of you that don't mind that kind of thing, but for those that like to go into a movie avoiding trailers/spoilers I recommend you avoid watching (sorry for the tease)

Thanks for posting, but yeah, I avoid final trailers like the plague. They are notorious for spoiling movies.

I finished watching episode 3 of FATWS last night. I'm having a hard time getting into it for some reason. It seems to jump from scene to scene without a smooth transition, and I'm not feeling any chemistry between Sebastian Stan and Anthony Mackie. Kind of a weird mash-up IMO.

Also, I feel like Anthony Mackie is basing his entire acting style on every Will Smith action role.

This is kind of surprising:
New Mutants will make it's streaming debut on HBO Max, not Disney+ or Hulu, on April 10.

I finally got to see New Mutants a few weeks ago. I ******* loved it. Outstanding casting and an actual unique way to introduce the team, their powers, and the universe in which they live.

My only complaint is that I want MORE!!! That's the only disappointment about finally seeing it is that Fox sucks so bad and I won't get to see the characters again.

I didn't find it terrible, but rather just alright and fairly forgettable. I did actually see it myself in theaters as I was craving pretty much anything at that point in the pandemic.

New Mutants was really the first comic title that I read from the first comic on. My brother bought that title from the first volume and had several years worth of the comics. So I was able to binge them all at once in my early teen years and really connect with the team and characters.

Good to hear your perspective and glad somebody really liked the movie. You are probably the first I've found who liked it that much, but I'm not sure the movie is as bad as many people play it out to be.

I knew what to expect so that helped. I just love the characters so much that I was ecstatic to see them live and in person.
My wife, who was a super hero virgin when we met enjoyed New Mutants as well, but she had a bunch of question to which I get way overdetailed answer to.

I thought it was a great idea to put them all in one place an introduce the team the way they did and have a uniting conflict. But I can understand how it would be confusing to people knew to the characters too.

Black Widow's delay to July has also pushed back the release date for Shang-Chi: that film now comes out September 3. Eternals and Spider-Man: No Way Home are still on schedule.

Revised 2021 MCU Release Calendar:
Jan 15: Wandavision
Mar 19: Falcon & The Winter Soldier
June 11: Loki
July 9: Black Widow
Summer TBD: What If?
Sept 3: Shang-Chi and the Legend of the 10 Rings
TBD: Ms Marvel
Nov 5: Eternals
TBD: Hawkeye
Dec 17: Spider-Man: No Way Home
Why the May gap between F&WS and Loki? Only three episodes left now. Is there a non-MCU series in there I’m missing?
