Jayden Nunn Decommits

It’s not just about one recruit. It’s about hoping to not build a bad reputation with how you treat other human beings.
But it is just one recruit, so why doesn't everyone just ease up on the selective outrage and see if this is a one time issue or a consistent feature of the coaching staff.

I’ve interviewed over 10,000 people in my management lifetime, taken over new districts/stores countless times. This is how it works, at least for decent people.
Within 2 days of starting a new job you personally contact the lowest priority person in your group and tell them you dont want them after all, or would you use a middle manager to help with the work load? TJ probably doesnt even have his office set up. Most jobs you dont do anything other than paperwork the first day or two. His press conference was 2 days ago.

Wait until they find out who else is leaving

There is only one player on the current roster who I will be the least bit disappointed if he leaves. Foster. And if it happens, it will be a bummer, but still a small price to pay for moving on from the Prohm era.

A quick question. Is this a live recruiting period or because of the NCAA Tournament is this a dead period?

Just curious what types of contact can TJ make with recruits right now. Also are he rules for transfers different.

We’ve known about this since Wednesday. If we knew about it by then, TJ knew about it before. Not that he could have reached out in that time, but he certainly could have drafted a text template to text to them over the course of days since he took over.

People act like transitioning on the fly is not that hard. Sure, just make a couple phone calls, have a couple meetings, easy peasy (never mind the fact that he's also trying to hire a new staff, put out feelers for potential transfers or recruits to fill out the roster, etc). I have no doubt that a call was on the agenda one way or the other, but it's pretty clear that, on the list of all the important things to do, Nunn was down the list a ways.
