I think the only way iowa state gets in is if every big 12 team, besides iowa state, gets shut down due to the covid after the big 12 tournament and unable to return in time for the start of the tournament. Leaving iowa state as the only available representative from the big 12.

There are a few, such as the most losses in a season (24). But he's up there on most of those lists.

We've gotta be pretty close to the record of consecutive losses to conference teams. I want to say that was like 21 or 22

Looks like "only" 3 in a row to end last year, or 4 if we count that conference tourney game.
So we'll need to sweep next week to have a shot, if 21 or 22 are the record.
Of course, we will, so someone find out what that record is.

I think the longest streak would be across 23-24 and 24-25, losing the last 11 conference games of 23-24 and the first 10 of 24-25

Agree ... what I'm saying is, you can be extremely bad and occasionally find a way to win, especially vs. bottom-feeders. We don't even have that.
