(1) 35: Missouri (55-20), 1920.
(2) 34: Kansas State (81-47), 1951.
(3) (tie) 33: Kansas (97-64), 2021; Kansas (50-17), 1919.
(5) 30: Texas Tech (87-57), 2020.
(Source: cyclones.com archives, w/ my update tonight)
ISU lost to to Kansas in 1990 96-63 Kansas also pummeled ISU 127-82 in 1989 I believe.

Johnny Orr teams did not like the road. Came back and beat Kansas at home in 1989

might take some time....this is way worse than when Fred came, he still had ejim and Scotty and deonte...this...I mean, this might take a few years

normally basketball can be done fast, but this...this is the worst team in the country
It took John Orr more than several years to turn it around at ISU...I feel sorry for whoever the next coach is, because he is inheirting a MESS

Thanks - I thought for sure there was some kind of 120-something to 80s/90s in the Orr era.

cyclones.com listing I referenced earlier must be worst home conference losses. It's mislabeled and there's no home/away that I can find. I'm deleting my first post. I info-botched.

I only remember that 89 game because of the crazy swing in margin from road to home.
Lost by 45 on the road, and win by like 8 at home. I think you would be hard pressed to find such a swing between games in a single season especially for high majors.

ISU lost like 4 years in a row at KU by 30 plus points during late 80's early 90's.
