Well, I'm shocked that KU would extend the lead right after halftime. I figured Prohm would innovate.
But there is talent. That’s obvious. It’s also obvious that coaching is the issue. If Pollard started a buyout campaign, and I knew for sure that’s where my money was going to go, I’d pony up more than I should. This is TURRIBLE.
If I played for this staff, I wouldn’t listen to a goddamn word. It’s remarkable that some of these guys haven’t walked away mid-season; surely they realize they’re horrendously coached. The level of ineptitude of our staff isn’t acceptable in any other profession. And no, Chris Williams, this isn’t a result of Prohm having “the worst luck”.
Top to bottom, almost nothing is right about what our players decide to do, and it’s continually the case. I didn’t think Pollard knew much about basketball to begin with. If he brings this staff back next year, he knows nothing and deserves to be fired himself.
