It's not just that, the new guys basically showed us NOTHING in their chance to really shine. It's truly hopeless and a huge, long uphill climb.

You may be rewriting some history here.
Plenty of us, maybe even most, maybe even more than that, pushed for a head coach like Prohm instead of TJ to keep things rolling, then came to realize our mistake.

Don't know if TJ is the guy or not, but your broad brush just doesn't work on this coaching picture.
