Yeah - we're about to head out on a grocery run. We're not supposed to get that much snow but we're out of a few things. My sympathies to you RTTers further south........sounds like you are gonna get hammered with this snow. Weather Channel projection shows Dirty Dodge getting none. I'd be OK with that.
I wonder how that works in real life.I think I'm going to switch my banking to chime so whenever we go back into the office I can boast that I got paid 2 days early.
I don't know but that commercial is so dumb. Would someone actually brag about their bank putting the money in their account 2 days before everyone else?I wonder how that works in real life.

I assumed the same sort of thing. I will say though at times I do see my paycheck hit my bank on occasion prior to the 15 & 30th. Of course the funds are pending.I'm gonna make some guesses here. Since the company and whoever wouldn't be releasing the money to the bank early (my assumption), this seems like one of those Refund Anticipation Loans/Checks or something from H&R Block.
Seems like it would be a program, probably one with fees that you pay to be a part of, where you sit down with someone or fill out forms online with information about your employer, pay rate/salary, and paycheck dates. Then the bank "advances" you the money. You get it 2 days sooner, but overall get less of it because of the program fees, origination fees, and/or whatever.
So, basically a way to prey on people struggling to get by where that 2 days might make a huge difference, but then comes with a brutal price tag at the end. That's my guess.
Observation from the oddly sunny northland looking at your weather.

Just got back from the grocery store. Picked up some fresh rainbow trout fillets...pan-fried trout for supper.Stir-fry tonight...............Yummo!
Daughter set up a Venmo account. She asked me what option to take. The manual pull that takes three days or the auto pull that is same day but costs 1%. I had to just ask her if she desperately needed the money (I knew the answer but hoped she would learn). She said no, so I asked why she would give someone 1% of her money for two days. She waits the 3 days.I assumed the same sort of thing. I will say though at times I do see my paycheck hit my bank on occasion prior to the 15 & 30th. Of course the funds are pending.
Chime keeps saying how it is all free but we all know nothing is free

In eagle grove, unfortunately, and it’s starting to come down decently.Went to Tama for work today, on the way back going W it was getting progressively worse, cut north 10 miles got out of it, got home just fine then about 45 minutes later the snow caught up with me. Oh well at least I got home easy, Bah Humbug to this snow though,
