I guess. Honestly, I'll be ok with whatever they decide as long as they make good movies. They had some moments with Fox, but the overall execution was not perfect. I want a full XMen universe with the evolution of characters and the team with new characters joining the cast, crossovers with other X Universe teams, and hopefully a fit into the Marvel Universe that makes sense and feels good.

It's like Star Wars. I can edit my own X-Men on screen world where it's as good as MCU...or I could look at it all and think there are some real stinkers.

For me:
90s cartoon (it's canon to the comics if not the movies)
X-Men
X2
First Class
Deadpool
Days of Future Past
Deadpool 2

Sometimes I think it's better to leave it two separate worlds even though there's no source material reason why it should be. There have been times when the "X" and "Spider" comic titles dwarfed all the rest of Marvel's publishing.

Not that it was really under any doubt by anyone, apparently Helstrom has officially been cancelled. This officially marks the end to Marvel TV. Even without the transition away from Marvel TV, Helstrom was all over the board for me anyway and probably not worth renewing. While there was a few things I liked in S1, most particularly the characters and actors/actresses playing those characters, there was a lot I did not. In the end, I can't even say I really enjoyed the show outside of a few episodes, and to me, that isn't worth renewing.

The 90s cartoon Wolverine voice was awesome and they used the guy on all the Capcom games. The two seasons of fiction podcasts they just did have an awesome voice...but a look and acting presence to replace Jackman is going to seem weird for a while.

The voice guy on the Wolvie podcast was actually Thorin Oakenshield in the Hobbit movies.

I like Marvel stuff but I have no idea what this series is supposed to be. Can somebody help me?
Vision died in Infinity War, yet he’s alive here. We’re wondering if Wanda snapped and if she is keeping him alive in this parallel dimension while also holding some residents captive.

Vision and Scarlet Witch's comic arcs are absolutely bizarre. It could be anything.

I am in the exact same boat. I will watch because it is Marvel but this is definitely lower on my excitement list right now. That being said it will end up being my favorite of all their new shows haha.

While I know the trippiness/mind games of what WandaVision looks like is attracting a decent amount of people to the show, I can't say I am one of them. I'm also someone that hates all these in-the-head episodes of any show out there. If its not happening in real-life, it loses my interest quickly. These types of shows or certain episodes in shows tend to be happening more often and I just hate most all of them. Legion is the perfect example, as well as Doom Patrol, which might be one of the stupidest shows I've ever seen. With that said, Kevin Feige of anyone out there has deserved the benefit of the doubt, so I always like to give him it. Therefore, I'll give it a fair shot, but I'd be lying if I didn't say it was dead last on my most anticipated MCU TV show list. However, it does have a certain default level of excitement with me as it is both our first Disney+ MCU show, and its the first MCU content we've seen in AGES!!!!

Yeah, I'm going to have to work to keep my wife engaged with it. She bowed out of Legion pretty quick. She actually knows these characters at least, so that helps. I am optimistic that the payoff will be worth it.

I really have no idea what to expect and they are making it near-impossible to know exactly what to expect. It is automatically trippy enough that I definitely will not be having my wife watch it with me either. She only likes the stuff that is less out-there and more grounded, so I'll wait to bring her in until Falcon and the Winter Solider. Her favorite character and movies have always been the Captain America ones, so that is much more up her alley. Shoot, it likely will be much more up my alley too.

So in the comics Vision and Wanda sort of leave the Avenging behind and want to live normal lives in the burbs. Obviously that doesn't exactly happen. I mean it could be something as run of the mill as neighbors who don't want to share their cozy hamlet with superpowered people they don't understand, or it could be as wild as the House of M where Scarlet Witch's reality warping powers get totally out of control and create an alternate universe. That's when I mean it could be literally anything.

So right. Anything with any cause behind it and any purpose to it.
I'm curious and interested. That's usually pretty good with me for something as mysterious or trippy as this.

From the sounds of things , Wandavision is the most important of these TV series to the general MCU going forward as it sets up the multiverse.

Disney just announced a new Disney+ Marvel series called the Legends series which is to be released prior to their upcoming other series which apparently recaps certain characters MCU journey up until that point. I kind of like this and will be interested to see what it ends up looking like. As this universe gets more expansive, it will help having some type of recap to keep viewers in the know.

When I was growing up, Marvel would release basically these encyclopedia things that were basically just a roster of their characters, where they fit in the Marvel universe, their powers, and some major plots for them. A lot of this stuff happened before I was reading comics and it kind of bought me up to date with them. I absolutely loved those.

These?

I was a junkie for these. I'll still go digging for stories that I remember seeing hints from in these.

DC had their own, but not quite as good:

Yes! That's right, "The Official Handbook". ha

I wish Disney/Marvel was more upfront with what these shows are. I'm worried that initial reception may not be great just due to the length of the series. The MCU series aren't really traditional series, like The Mandalorian: They are more like standalone mini-series, like what ABC did in the 90s (ex. IT, The Langoliers, The Jackson 5, etc). WandaVision is 6 episodes long and the other MCU series will be between 6-8 episodes long. My guess is total run-time will be around 3 hours, just slightly longer than a Marvel movie, but also means the episodes would be 30-40 minutes. There won't likely be sequels to some of these series either, I doubt there will be a WandaVision Season 2 - if these characters return to Disney+ it would be a TV event under a different name. She-Hulk, Moon Knight and Ms Marvel are the only characters that I could see get a 2nd Disney+ event just because they are the newest characters.

Been working my way through The Mandalorian S2 and just watched the third episode last night, which is the Bo Katan episode. Anyway, I found it cool how much that series has been reusing MCU actors, most particularly Agents of Shield actors. Last season introduced Ming-Na Wen (Shield Agent May) in the show and this episode I just watched featured Titus Welliver (Shield Agent Blake), Simon Kassianides (Hydra Agent Sunil Bakshi), and apparently the two pilots had minor Shield agent roles in the series.
