I checked out the website and read the main page. Still sounded like the end goal there is to test likely cases first, if I read that right?

Dude's been perfectly fine and calm through all of this. Posts like this don't help anyone.
Seems like the new exam is another way to say 'things are fine' instead of providing a chance to see where things really are.
That means there's only 250 showing symptoms or knowingly exposed. This isn't much of a surprise.
Yep, which doesn't help with anything. It's no different than me having a small fever over a month ago and just being told to stay home.
There's no doubt that there's people out there that that take this as meaning they aren't sick and can go visit family.
I’m dumbfounded we don’t have the capability to basically test anyone that wants tested at this point.

Spoiler alert...I have not been tested.Tin foil: That would show higher numbers which could make it look worse for some that want this to stay 'hush hush' so they can let off; Imo that's kind of the opposite side of disrupting things and prolonging how long action needs to be taken and how much longer people will be skiddish about normalcy.
The whole world is trying to buy the supplies for testing and areas of manufacturing for some of those supplies have been hit hard by the virus. There have been shortages for everything from testing reagents to swabs to collect samples. Not only are we competing with other countries, but due to lack of a cohesive national plan states and even the feds are competing with each other for these things. If we had nationally started preparing for this issue back in January and tried getting manufacturing in the US more focused on dealing with this situation it may have been avoided, but that didn't happen so here we are.

Those who have symptoms or who have been exposed to people with coronavirus will be eligible for free testing at drive-through sites. The state will alert the contacts of those who test positive.
I haven't found it...what about those with no symptoms or don't 'pass' the exam, since that's kind of a big deal in getting to the root of this thing?
How does someone find out they've been exposed to someone with Covid if they've been around people that aren't showing symptoms?
Not arguing...have these questions been asked of the leadership?

Of course you may have been exposed and not known it, but there are people out there that know they have been in contact with someone who has tested positive. Those are going to be highest priority for contact tracing purposes.
I'm sure the point is to prioritize testing based on how you answer the survey and increase those grops tested as more testing becomes available. Eventually the goal is to test people even in the lowest risk categories to get a good idea what the spread of the virus is in the state. Obviously some of you on here are skeptical that the testing will happen, but it is a sound approach to testing and maximizing resources.
We haven't ramped up testing yet - yesterday was there were only between 600-700 tests ran
Oh okay. Has Reynolds said anything about when ramped up testing begins(which will obviously cause sky high case numbers) what the plan is going forward with opening things up? My first guess would she will likely extend things probably till mid May at the very least.
