I really like Kier. Perry should be a realistic target and would really help us but we won't be able to get him
Unless something has changed I don't know about Kier isn't an option for us either.

Pretty sure ISU reached out after that list was relesed (once Turner announced). ISU is now under consideration for Kier. Actually is a good sign being a late add.

Just found the first tweet with ISU added which was 2 days after his original top 10.

April 15 @jakeweingarten NC State is conducting a virtual tour with George Mason graduate transfer Justin Kier today, he told @Stockrisers. He doesn’t have any final list yet and his recruitment remains open.

Iowa State is the newest school involved.

People wanting Prohm fired are wanting what’s best for Iowa State. Of course I’ll be happy if we win the Big12 regular season and make the Final 4 this year with Prohm, but we won’t sniff either.

so you are rooting against Iowa State as long as he is the coach.

At what point do we reach out to GT's that already committed? I know we have had a few committed OL sign elsewhere out of conference. Do the same rules apply for basketball?

Good to know, I have stopped asking for info after the DeJulius thing.

I’d hope we already are. After the draft could see some movement.

Things change. Maybe the program added/lost some other players.

Lol what? Knowing we aren’t going to be good isn’t rooting against Iowa State. I said I’d be happy if we were good. Unfortunately he underachieves even when he has a lot of talent. We’ve had options to bring in some help, and he’s 0-22 so far. Not good.

Reasonable stance imo.

But just so you know, that’s not going to get your jersey in the rafters when Prohm surprises in the next two years. You can’t possibly enjoy future success under Prohm the same amount as Cat, he’s put in the work! It would not be fair!

Are we officially out on Buggs? I've been higher on him than most because he's a good fit (distributing PG with size who seems like a leader) so I think he's better for us than a lot of guys rated ahead of him. Would still need to add a good scoring/shooting player, like Kier to really make it a good fit.

Why not post positive stuff in hopes of helping recruiting. It might help and it might not.

I had been, until last night. Time for a new approach. I was one of the few who thought just at minimum adding a decent PG would make us competitive.

ISU Top 10. We are about to be 9th with TH making #9.

If you are a transfer with 1 year left to play and want a school that has put a fair amount of kids into NBA then ISU is it

From someone definitely in the know...yes we are out, he didn’t like being slow played, will stay out west

Open letter time!

Let’s get JP on board. He’s great at penning a letter that sidesteps poor performance. He can read the top 10 from CF on these sports radio shows with no content.

Except the problem is ISU, it has not been.
