Prince to resign from KSU

kind of surprising in my mind. 2.5 seasons is not a long leash. I hope we give Chiz more of a chance than that.

The really funny thing is that KSU will be reeling for years because of all the JUCOs he brought in this year. They have almost no freshman class.

Wow...that is shocking. I know people disliked him but with only 2 full seasons and a contract extension, I never would have guessed this would happen.

Please God...don't let us get McCarney'd

My first thought as well. I'm guessing, however, that Prince doesn't have the same amount of respect and loyalty from his players that Mac did.

This is "raise an eyebrow" surprising, not "drop a jaw".

How long until K-State ends up back where they were - the only team possibly worse than ISU in the Big 8 (now 12)?

He sealed his own fate with the JUCO heavy class. If they win, he stays, if they lose, it's a failed experiment. Did they all even make into class? How many stay after this year? That program will be absolute rock bottom again very shortly...

Looks like we have a chance to climb over a wounded Wildcat... good for us but kinda WTF?

I have used Mcarney'd on several occasions. Usually it means run the ball up the middle when it's 3rd and long. I am not sure what you mean by it.

Probably referencing the 06 Missouri game. Bad team wins coach's final game.

I assume he means "lose in a coach's final game after resignation" type thing.

This may be naive, but are we jumping to the conclusion that he was asked to resign? Maybe it was voluntary?

Either way, hopefully this translates into a Cyclone win in Manhattan!!
