I have used Firefox on my desktop/notebooks as well as my phones (Android) for as long as I can recall them being available! Not sure why...but I prefer Firefox by far over any other browser. I don't have any hatred toward Chrome (I love Google stuff) but just think Firefox is the best. On my desktop/notebooks I use Firefox Nightly which is alpha stage of future versions and it works great!

I began using Firefox a long time ago, I think before Chrome was even a thing, because it was more customizable. It was pretty stagnant for awhile but they've done a lot to improve it in the last couple years. It's fast and pretty good on security/privacy issues too.

For my phone I use Brave browser. Based on chrome, but blocks ads and trackers.

I've started using Brave as my main browser recently and really like it. We'll see if I stick with it or go back to Firefox which has been my daily user for desktop/laptop use 99% of the time since 2004 or 2005.

Chrome is usually my go to for media consumption such as Youtube or other streaming sites. It has historically played media nicer for me compared to Firefox.
For a phone browser I had gone with Chrome for several years, but am giving Brave a try there and loving it.

The Brave browser, for me, has been fast and clean. It is also noteworthy to mention it's basis around the Basic Attention Token (BAT). Basically, Brave blocks ads that would normally show on sites and instead can present you with Brave Ads. Viewing them earns you BAT. Then you can choose to tip websites with that BAT you earned, cash it out yourself, or do nothing.

Which is endorsed by the Chinese government?
Which is best for porn surfing?
Which streams that POS Cyclone.TV best?

Actually I am okay with Chrome especially with the bookmarks sync'd across devices. Do have Firefly (cause cooler name than Firefox so that's what I call it) loaded on the workstation desktop. Quick searches in the Windows 10 search bar of course defaults to their POS which is mildly annoying. Not too bad though since it's usually "How the **** do change X or Y in Windows?"

Yeah it is Chromium based, it is light years better than what Edge was before

Agreed, they just released it in January and I downloaded it on my home PC. It is a TON better than the original Edge and I think may even run faster and better than Chrome now too. I haven't used it too much yet but so far it is a noticeable improvement over the original version of Edge
