i don’t think larry is trolling. It’s either some burner acct for someone in the ath dept or some poor misguided college freshman. They tweet stuff like ISU athletics is 2A girls b-ball where we should support the coach cuz they’re trying hard and investing their own time. Prohm is paid a lot of money to coach ISU.
I've just thought Larry is a group of WRNL guys just tweeting from a separate account. He tweets screen grabs for the WRNL Slack.
It took me a few months of following Cyclone Larry on twitter (never actually looking at his profile) to realize his profile pic is Leath, and he/she/they are not in fact a middle-aged man.

- Larry's statistical forecasts of major sporting events are better than fivethirtyeight's
Get Larry a job in public relations crisis management or something because that man can try to polish a turd with the best of them.
Larry is a college student who uses satire and optimism to help him through his ways. I give the person credit behind the account, regardless if he's being too optimistic.
There are some hawk trolls that deserve a perma ban.

Drew went from being the skinny little nerd that everyone hated because he talked **** about them behind their back when he started in the Big 12 to being the skinny, balding little nerd that tries really hard to make sure everyone likes him by always buttering them up by saying nice things. I have to admit, I think I like the suck up better.
Self, Barnes, Mike Anderson, and every other coach used to sing McDermott's praises because having ****** coaches in the league is good for them. Everyone did the same thing about Doc. If other coaches are going out of their way to compliment your coach and your sub .500 team, they're doing it for their own job security.

Ah yes, the completely comparable situations of being left with a top 10 team, 2 program legends, and a number of NBA players and a ******* MURDER COVERUP that gave them the worst sanctions we've seen against a team in the modern era of college sports. Same thing really.
He's a bit of a troll but he's not trolling with this stuff. I've interacting with him enough to get the idea that he's a sunshine pumper who also makes troll posts

Let’s think about this: Lard’s departure was one hundred percent on him. Had Wigginton stayed a year to try and improve his draft stock, our lineup would be Wigginton, Halliburton, Bolton, Lard, Young with Jacobson and Condit IV off the bench. That’s a team that could win 20+ games.
Since that didn’t happen, Prohm doesn’t have a very good roster, but he’s also lost and his lineups and rotations are worrisome. Cheering for us to lose is horrible, but being critical of the coach and teams abilities isn’t. Basketball is crumbling for us right now, and unless Foster and Blackwell are ready to be beasts right away, next year looks even worse. A lot of people think Prohm is lost out there and is putting us back in the cellar, so wanting a new coach doesn’t make people bad fans.
I will leave it at that and let the fanatics here interpret this however they would like. Nobody here wants Prohm to fail, but there is reason for some of us to think it’s going to happen. Thoughts?
