I think I saw somewhere that NU will struggle again next year, presumedly. I guess he can't just reload there and carry on like the good old days?
Not at all. Open looks all game. Open looks by our best shooters. Shot selection was good, movement without the ball was good, ball movement was good. A mediocre shooting team wins this game. Got great looks all game vs an elite defense.
Defense was good first half. Defense and defensive rebounding not good the second half. Seems like the poor shooting started to affect the defensive effort and rebounding in the second half.
People rating this post optimistic clearly haven’t watched OSU and KSU this year. OSU has a shot at going 0-18. They are the worst they’ve ever been. They struggle hitting 45 point mark every single game. This is coming from someone who’s been down about our team all year.
I thought the offense movement was actually pretty solid most of the game.

1. Yes, that's like saying Fran gets credit for Jordan Bohannon being a good free throw shooter when he's been good at it his whole life.
2. I think you're forgetting a certain player who broke his foot a certain year. Also, Larry Brown would've gotten fired from the Bulls with that front office and roster, so quit using your love for Prohm as a measure for hate against Fred.
Prohm stated multiple times that we needed immediate help on the perimeter and then with our last roster spot we toon a coin flip guard.
I think they knew Rasir had a good case and made the right call. Heck, if they thought this year was going to be a struggle, they made a great choice even if he had to redshirt.
Steve Kerr looks brilliant this year too.

They had looks but I didn't feel like there was much rhythm to the shots. Baylor tends to do that to teams.
Hali's been found out and may need to find other ways to score.
They ran the weave a lot this game again, which did produce some decent looks. Actually hitting them was certainly a challenge.
