Some thoughts on the bowl destination...

KSU has a better record, they beat us head to head, and they also have a great travel reputation. They have also been a bigger football brand than us over the last 20 years. I can't think of any reason why Orlando would take us over them.
He was at the Iowa Wild game tonight in Des Moines. You could've just done it there.
I don't like the puny payout-though PHX is a fun destination and may be the driest, not likely the coldest, choice.
I live in Phoenix, but am down to ride along to Orlando. Want to pick me up?

Payouts don’t matter. It all goes the conference and split ten ways. ISU gets no direct payout.
OU making CFP is great for the entire conference.
Alamo one year ago. ISU blew that place up. I dont think they haver ever seen anything like it.
Since fbcurt is swinging down to Phoenix and S.A. en route to Orlando, might as well make a stopover in Michigan.
Booked a bunch of flights, hotels, and car rentals. Glad I can refunds for flights cancelled within 24 hours.
well except for the fact of what Iowa State did down here last year is something that every single bowl city dreams of. And it was noted, and acknowledged by all of them.
this is a city that has a large tourism industry. San Antonio made 54 million dollars the week between Christmas and New Years last year.
that number is blinking on good year blimps to other cities.
If you could suffer hours on end with me in the car. Now that would be an interesting ride
I dont disagree but ISU has a fan base that most teams wish they had. I dont think KSU currently has that brand. The vampire isnt there anymore (Praise the lord). i dont think they will travel near as well as we will. I hope that pushes it in our favor but who knows.
